Amherst College announces the following faculty positions to begin in July 2008. Searches conducted during the 2007-2008 academic year. Candidates should have a strong commitment to undergraduate and interdisciplinary teaching in a liberal arts context and a well-articulated plan for sustained research. RELIGION – Assistant Professor, Tenure Track
Full-time Assistant Professor in the study of Islam. General courses in Islam, both classical and contemporary, and in area of candidate’s specialization.
