Tenure Track Faculty Positions 2008-2009 Religious Studies

 

The Religious Studies Department invites applications for a tenure-track position in Islamics at the assistant or associate professor level to begin Fall 2009. PhD required by time of appointment. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in classical Islam. Preference will be given to candidates with broad comparative interests (e.g. African religion), including an ability to teach courses on Islam in America. The ideal candidate will also be anticipated to contribute to the college’s Middle Eastern Studies/Islamic Civilization program.
