In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Assalamu ‘alaikum
Many have urged me to start this blog for a very long time. By the Grace of Allah, He has inspired me to take the time and put this blog together. My aim is to put forth articles based on my readings on management and work-related topics and spirituality from an Islamic perspective. I will try to keep this blog organized by topics, but it may take me a while to understand the blogging process.
If you come across articles or books or short anecotes that relate Islam and management and work-related topics, please e-mail them to me at rib19@columbia.edu. I will look them over, determine whether they fit the general mission of this blog, and post them if appropriate. I will be rather rigorous in my selection of articles and book excerpts that I post so as to provide true value to the readers of this blog.
Wassalamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah

Your blog seems good as it has a wide range of topics. At a time of stress in the workplace there are some good topics in your site.
I am always thinking that people need to remember to balance their work life, family life and religious duties, I think Prophet (s) did this, he dedicated each portion of his day like that, and I found this one of the best advice otherwise there are times I would be just stuck at work for hours and hours! Islamic life is about a balance – not to be extreme in any particular area, for example for a guy to sit in a mosque all day isn’t encouraged, he should go out and work as well and family duties. I don’t know of any other faith which encourages such balance.
I have also just started a blog. It’s just about my journey to Islam as a Polish Muslim.
All the best in your blog.
Eliza.
